Anointed Bill
This morning I woke up, read the beginning of St. John 1:1-12, drank some coffee, and then went to see the bills. My Mother just told me yesterday that, "We will always have bills they will not go away. Whether it's a monthly yearly or weekly, the bills will come from the light to the gas bill". Whoever doesn't get frustrated at bills is a real trooper to me.
I heard a story one night of someone at church when they saw the bills they became upset. So this time they just looked at it, prayed over it, and gave it to God to take care of it all and never worried about it after that. So I took heed. I gathered all our bills (which covered the table like a table cloth) and my sons and I anointed every bill. Every door in the house was closed and we anointed and prayed and asked God to take them. We also prayed for the one income that it be multiplied for God to use towards His kingdom by our giving in offerings. After that prayer we then anointed our wallets and asked God to fill it. For He gave seed to the sower but how can we sow with no seed. Lord give us seeds. Amen.
The Bible says to instruct your child in the way they should go for when they get older they will not depart from it. So I included and instructed my boys to do this because one day they to will have bills and they need to know that God will help and meet the need according to what His word says. If they ever get into a situation when it is now out of their control to give it to God. Of course we pray they don't get into a situation like that. However, if they ever do they can reflect back and say remember what Mom did.
If we fail it's not because it was Gods fault because God is perfect and cannot fail. But if we fail it's us when we choose poor judgement. However, some things cannot be helped because you can do everything right and still have something bad happen. Even so, it's not God who fails, but now the enemy who is coming in to destroy. So we teach our children that God will meet the need and take care of these medical bills. We prayed and asked God for help and gave them to Him. We smiled and had a calming peace about the whole thing and now we wait because at this point they are now His and He will guide and instruct us on how to diminished and empty the papers of debt.
Jesus paid a debt that I had owed , I owed a debt I could not pay. I needed someone to wash my sins away. And now I sing a brand new song Amazing Grace, Christ Jesus paid a debt that I could never pay. Lord continue to teach and guide us. For when we think we are mighty and smart we are not, but prideful and foolish. Lord give us humility and wisdom and above all compassion and kindness for others. For who knows the burden of debt that is upon their shoulders waiting for relief..
Praise God for paying a debt we could not pay.
