The Souls Perfume

What perfume will I open up this morning to ascend up to the nostrils of a Mighty God? Face down to the ground arrested by pain anticipating the awe inspiring presence of an Almighty King who was welcomed this morning from an agonizing prayer call for deliverance. You are my Hiding place you always fill me up with the songs of deliverance, I will trust in you. ~Psalm 32:7

The Psalms will intoxicate you even if your not the drinking kind. Not my quote but it's a powerful true word non the less. Because who doesn't need a deliverance under the anointing of God...Psalms bring out the rawest of emotions within the depths of the spirit and soul they make emotions go wild needing to be tamed by peace and being still with His Word. Only a Psalm can penetrate a hardened heart to break and soak up the anointing of God. It causes the purest of worship and praise. Worship and praise gets extracted from the brokenness of spirit making it into a sweet smelling savor unto the Lord; where it ascends above our heavens far beyond into eternity, reaching the very throne of God into His nostrils. Our souls perfume.

Worship awakens the spirit and calms the flesh to a silence. Because in a trial, the flesh makes agonizing sounds and many loud noises that it must be hushed to hear the word of God. For who can hear His whisper to the soul when the flesh is so loud...

Bad news crumbles to a pulp any joy or maybe even sanity. Confusion and fear are just about welcomed to the sound of bad news. Then the war of the flesh and spirit begin to disrupt a foundation to be shaken and shifted. Will our faith stand and become stronger or will it be disturbed and worked on like a jack hammer destroying concrete sifting it away to nothingness? Lord I believe! But Please, help my unbelief!

I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. ~Romans 7:25

For I delight in the law of God after the inward man. ~Romans 7:22

That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us,who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.~Romans 8:4

What deliverance do you seek and crave or cry for today? Because Jesus still saves; not just yesterday, but every day, hour, minute, and second. And He continues to save, heal and deliver. I finally understand from a recent trial that about overtook me but praise God it did not, that God who still sits on the throne, continues in the momentum of healing, delivering, restoring and saving through our faith. Faith that's applied daily like opening your eyes and seeing or even opening your hand and reaching. We never stop reaching for things no matter how small; from a pencil to moving a shelf from one corner of the room to another. We open our eyes automatically every morning to start the day. That 's how faith is applied and works in the spirit to work in our natural place. Daily, hourly, minute by second-Faith.

Will the Lord stop at just healing, delivering or saving you/us once? No, because as we apply His words of healing to our spirit, it causes the flesh to align with His word and causing a shift change. That's the awesomeness of Gods word in action in our lives. The blood of Jesus Christ never dries up, it will never lose it's power; for it flows constant to save, heal, and deliver. And O' the praise and worship during the process of the shifting. The fragrance of  true repentance, purity, and sincerity ascending to the nostrils of a Mighty God. We have our own trademarked soul perfume.

I hope you are encouraged to seek the Lord more earnestly when you are hurting, because access is granted through applying the blood of Jesus for He suffered a great death that we may be made whole through Him. May we seek Him and find Him; and may we worship Him in Spirit and in Truth no matter how hard or even destitute it may be. The Lord will continue to save, heal, and deliver you/I as often as Faith is applied.

If we were to figure out however, how the Lord works then we have made him too small because in my humanity I am limited but He is Limitless and His ways are higher than ours. I have realized that God has better and bigger plans in store than what I can even think or imagine. And when I place Him on the throne as an Almighty God, then that is who He Is, The Great I Am.

May the Lord breath in the perfume of our soul or worship and praise daily and remember that He will continue the momentum of delivering us until He comes again to gather us and take us home. For He who calls upon the name of the Lord Shall be saved.~Acts 2:21
