The Throne in Midst of the Flood

To know a God so awesome and Almighty on a personal level is just about a privilege and yet, it is freely given to those who seek Him with all their heart.

And ye shall seek me, and find me when ye shall search me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13.

I'm trying to grasp at he thoughts of a God so full of love and goodness would cause me to go through some of the most terrible trials this human body and spirit could tolerate. But, if we could ever figure out the ways of God,  perhaps we've made him too small. Because even in my thoughts I'm limited God however, is not. He is limitless and has many ways to show us who He is on a vast level. When trials hit us back to back non stop during a season of trying, I begin to ponder the thought of how and why this is being allowed and why it's happening to us in such a way to almost break us and end us.

At least that's how I feel. And I question and ponder the thought, "Does God really Love me at all to let this happen to me and hurt me?" I know some things I cause on my own out of my mistakes or rebellious ways to yet overcome. But what about the ones that even in doing rightly good bad happens...

I read something Beth Moore said that made me think:"You and I will never move to the next level with God if we're scared half to death of what awaits us. On this mysterious pilgrimage we will find that when we do meet difficulties and sorrows, they were not meant to stop us but to Form Character required for our great harvest in the coming season. We must be willing to fight."

So I ask myself how many are really willing to fight to a greater level in growth in the spirit and come to know God in a more personal level? Am I or is where I am enough to get me through the rest of my days? I've come to understand that the fight is the challenge of greater spiritual growth and moral education. Perhaps that is why Paul says: Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, where unto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12. A good Profession like a professional and Many witnesses, many are watching you although you think they are not even concerned for you, they are witnesses watching you from the outside looking in.

Isaiah 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. The enemy coming in like a flood and who allowed it, perhaps it's time to move higher to the next mountain...

Flood in the Strong's concordance means: Stream, including a sea. A sense of flowing

Standard in the Strong's concordance means: Vanish away (I like to call it a vanishing point.)

Psalm 124:4,5 Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream (flood) had gone over our soul: then the proud waters had gone over my soul. Even David felt the enemy coming in like a flood as we at time do in this day in age.

Another example in the bible of the enemy coming in like a flood is:

Exodus 14:21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

The sea was a type of flood as we saw in the definition of its meaning. In verse 19 the angel of the lord that was in front went from behind and stood and in verse 21 when the lord told Moses to stretch out his hand over the sea (flood) the lord caused the sea to go back (vanishing from the front) the sea then became divided and now the very thing they thought was going to overtake them was a protective barrier when God showed up… Exodus 14:22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. When God shows up in our problems it changes the dominion of kingdoms when we lift up our hands in praise a picture of the kingdom of heaven at hand.

Matthew 10:7 And as ye GO, preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
David said in Psalms 29:10 The Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King forever.

Sitteth means; Enthroned (A king has a throne), the Lord is king over the flood and he sitteth on the flood. Think about that for a minute or two.

Psalms 29:11 The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace. As the Lord sitteth peace comes. In Exodus 14:22 The sea the noisy surf sometimes called a large river, was used as a wall to protect them in the presence of the Lord to cross over and overcome. Just as God is enthroned over the flood, he is enthroned over everything thing that troubles you when you lift up your hands and stretch forth and speak the word of God. In the presence of Jehovah troubles vanish hearts are mended in the presence of the king.

Psalms 66:5-6 Come and see the works of God: he is terrible (awesome) in his doing toward the children of men. He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood (sea) on foot: there did we rejoice in him. He ruled by power and dominion because He is King over all troubled waters. He demonstrates His awesomeness and who else can do what was done here at the Red Sea?

Revelation 22:1,2 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the presence of the king the water is so calm it looks crystal clear peace being still.  In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. We see also, the throne and on the sides of the throne a river the tree of life and the leaves for healing. From the beginning to the end, He still reigns and is Enthroned as King over everything even the waters. Wooh!!

Revelation 1:15And His voice as the sound of many water His voice shuts up the waters to a vanishing point; the waters obey His voice of Many Waters. God will also quiet and calm your flood, remembering that not every storm brings a flood but when they do, God sitteth or is enthroned in it when we lift up our hands to Him.

 So,
when the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him and the Lord sitteth upon the flood; yea, the Lord sitteth King forever an Eternal Dominion!

In our intense trials especially the ones we feel will overtake us to go under, God has dominion over it and that dominion is an eternal Kingdom backing you up and leading you forward to purpose, and we begin to see more and more of how great and awesome He really is to us personally. He is Almighty in ways we have yet to see in our lives. To know a God so awesome in a personal level is just about a privileged and yet it is freely given to those who seek Him with all their heart.

The Kingdom of heaven at hand, so stretch forth and go through the midst of that flood.
For anyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
