The Art of Drawing God to Us...
Perhaps the art of drawing is simply this, Humility...
"But it is good for me to draw near to God"~ Psalms 73:28.
Drawing, in a different meaning rather than the obvious. Not in a form of a pencil or paint brush; but what about a heart in the hands of someone living in humility in the purest form.. one that no one knows but God almighty? The art of Drawing God to us....
~Psalms 138:6-8
Though the Lord be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
Humility draws Him closer to us. Perhaps if He seems afar off we must become more humble in our hearts because He knows our heart afar off and to be proud and live and speak prideful, He stands distant and away from our heart.
He is Concerned for us and He will perfect that problem we maybe having. But first, I must take on humility in the most private way in my heart. The truth of the word is instilled in my heart and Humility is a must for Him to be drawn closer to me. He hath Respect unto the lowly. I deserved hell for my iniquities, but I'm so grateful for Grace and Mercy.
Today I am reminded that He has done so much already by giving me salvation; and anything else, is just Showers of Blessings of His love towards me and you.
I am artist. However, I'd prefer to be one of humility that I may draw the Lord closer into my heart. Revive me O' Lord and stretch forth thy hand and save me. He is the King of Humility and He draws us daily, now we must learn to draw Him to us.
