The Up Hill Broken Road
I'm sure there are days and maybe one particular day, you sit down from an exhausting fight and say, "This has just got to stop because I cannot fight any longer or it will break me. I thought we were suppose to get better with change and age but it seems we are getting worse, did I miss it somewhere and why would God allow this to come upon us"...
So we have read the scripture and prayer fervently and still it won't let up and we continue thinking, "I know we've missed it some where but where?"
I don't know if you've ever thought this but I sure have and the questions going up to the Lord are non stop. You see I'm just not there yet where we can just sit back and say, "It is well." One day I know I will be, but right now there are things I need answers to just to get a foot hold from this up hill broken road.
Then out of no where HE comes and gives a word and we cling to that word because it's a true word, it's a growing word, it's a life changer word. Oh when God gives you a word it's just Perfect because it should connect with your spirit and changes your cells to yield to HIS Way of travel. Gotta love a Yield sign on a broken road.
The Lord provides for us Strength on Demand when entering the next trial.
They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.~Psalms 84:7
Remembering its a journey it's a road we are going through sometimes broken sometimes a big highway. Whatever the road we go on, He provides that strength on demand because He knows we can do it. Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Philippians 1:6
So although the road we travel when we are walking in the path God has called us to walk, I'm now understanding that it's that Up Hill broken road that is leading me closer to my Savior; after all we only have One Savior, One Way and One Truth. No other way but that broken up hill road perhaps our spiritual Calvary to lay down the flesh and put on the garment of a Bride adorned for her groom. there is but One groom and that's Jesus.
