Containment

But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?~1 Kings 8:27

The universe contains His Majesty and yet even in this verse in 1 Kings the heavens and the heavens of heavens cannot contain Him because God is Almighty; How can He come in the heart of man and dwell there?

Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.~Job 36:26

He is beyond and bigger than generations and years put together.

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.~Psalm 90:2

When I read the bible and come across words like this I can't help but look and ponder the thought of the Greatness of God. How truly Almighty He is and how can an Almighty God come down from the heaven and heaven of heavens into the heart of man. I can't even contain the thought of it and yet it's true. An Almighty God comes into the heart of man and makes a home there. From heaven to heaven into my heart. What manner of Love He has for mankind.

What a great magnitude of degree and great length the Father in heaven went to reconnect with His creation. A creation that was disconnected from sin; He went through the vast of eternity from heaven to heaven and stepped into time to connect and fellowship with us in our hearts. It was a great price to pay that only Jesus was worthy to accomplish. O death where is thy sting...It was nailed to the cross and Love won the Victory. Brings new meaning to the Kingdom of heaven is at hand. Similar to the palm of my hand as I close it in a fist, my heart is that size and He fits inside; to dwell and commune with me.

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, ~Ephesians 3:17

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.~Ephesians 3:19

The greatness of our God cannot be contained and yet possible in the heart of man. The privileged to us is that an Almighty God gives us an opportunity to carry Him and all of heaven in our hearts daily right into eternity from now to then. All we need to do is ask Him to come into our hearts and dwell and commune with us. No other creature has that privileged, none. Behold the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.~Matthew 10:7. He fits in the size of a hand which is also the size of our heart. Because of the works of the cross as the nail drove into His palms, He gave us an opportunity to place Him in our heart. Behold God is great and we don't know how truly great He really is. However, He fits all of Himself and heaven in our hearts. By His choosing, God's Love held Jesus on the cross for a moment; our hearts now can contain Him in our lifetime by our choosing.
