HUNGRY

So desperate for food and we tier of junk food to only easy the pangs. But we are in desperate need for true bread no more snack cakes of junk food.

So we're hungry and our soul aches for something to stop the souls crave for spiritual food, and we become bitter, frustrated, and angry. We lash out to anyone who approaches us because we have spiritual hunger pangs and there is no one to feed us and we ourselves have forgotten where to get daily bread any more. The pantry of our spirit is empty and needs replenishing but it's too much work and we are to weak in spirit. And yet, we have strength enough to pick an argument with anyone who draws close because we are to threatened and prideful to admit that we have no food left, it's all gone. We need God. Yet, we pretend to have spiritual food and go shopping some place different to get it. In fact, we even try to gain access by using the back door of the spirit realm to get to God but He is not there. Jesus is the only way, front door entrance to the heart.

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.~ Luke 4:4
And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.~Luke 9:23

But seriously who wants to pick up a heavy cross every morning and walk around throughout the day denying and depriving self the flesh daily? We'd look foolish to everyone and that would be so undignified...right?

I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

The only way to be truly filled and be at peace with ones self is to live by feeding or reading the word of God. His body was broken for us so we can partake of it in communion to have fellowship with Him daily, to know Him. Not to know of Him but truly know Him.

Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.~Matthew 6:11,12.

When we begin to read and feed on daily bread we can forgive easily because the spiritual hunger pangs have stopped. Then we pursue more the one who's fed us and we crave His presence daily, not to just have a visitation but have a habitation now in our hearts. But do we truly want Him and do we want Him to stay for the price to pay is our flesh...

And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.~Exodus 33:18-20

Moses was fed by the manna from heaven and He also communed with God but He wanted desperately to see Him face to face. However no man can see His face and live. So perhaps this is why Paul had the Damascus experience of being blinded to truly see Jesus in the Spirit so that Saul the flesh could die in order for Paul the spirit to see God's glory. I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

When we are truly wanted to have God inhabit us rather than visit we must die daily to the desires emotions and feeling of the flesh and seek and worship God in the spirit.

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.~ John 4:23.

May we worship and have Him inhabit our hearts by dying to the things of the flesh that we may see His glory and His face. May the world recognize Him in conviction just as we are convicted.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.~ John 6:51
