Behold...A Limitless Thing
I gave up a lot not to come here and fail, but to succeed in something greater than myself, a greater purpose. However, I get in the way a lot! Not me per say, but the flesh. At times it gets in the way of the purpose and will of God. I must decrease that He may Increase. Can anyone relate to this...
Suppose the less hurtful route for me is not quitting per say but to "walk away graciously" and the hurt is not as impactful and neither is the guilt. Still, the gnawing of the call is still there, because again it's even greater than I. And although I graciously walked away, it gnaws in my spirit to pursue regardless of the resistance because the reward is so much greater and so is the victory. I am so missing out however if I don't persevere. There is a cost, the cost is Self. I must lay the flesh down at the foot of the cross, and walk in the spirit.
I heard someone say that what we daily behold that we become in appearance, character, and action and the verse they used was Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:
What am I beholding in my everyday...Lord let me Behold you!
And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God. John 1:36
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29
The meaning of Behold is: to observe, gaze, witness, and surprise.

The surprise and the observation of constant gazes of the day should be our Beloved Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; Lover of our soul. He who woos us to great purpose, even an eternal purpose, an everlasting purpose. Let us set aside every weight that so easily besets us and run the race of a greater calling much more greater than Self. Behold the Lamb of God daily; not selfie but the Saviour.
When we behold Him and pursue forward regardless of the resistance He moves us even beyond our limit because when He moves in us it's a limitless thing. We Are So Much Happier following Jesus For Certain!
Beholding Him is a limitless thing...Surprise.
