Set Apart

I have come to understand, that if you don't fit in, it's because you've been Set Apart. Many are called but few are chosen and if the resistance is great, it's because you're a square peg in round hole already.

How many men and woman in the bible that had a calling and anointing, Not fit in... If you find yourself alone because your odd somehow, well it's true. We are to be a "Peculiar People according to Deuteronomy 14:2 ...the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself,

If the crowd is not following you, than it's a good thing. We are to follow Jesus anyway's, Not the crowd. We may be in the world but not be part of it. We are Set Apart.

God has a purpose in your life to fulfill and we are to take time to get away and seek His face in prayer to be able to carry the anointing and His word in our heart to do that purpose that He has called us to do. We are to give Him the Glory.

There was only one Leader Moses, Prophet Jeremiah, Judge Deborah and Queen Esther. All these were surrounded by a nation yet, they found themselves set apart also from the crowd. These are those who gave God the Glory.

Isaiah 49:1 The Lord hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.

Deuteronomy 14:2 For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.

It may be a lonely place following Jesus as far as people or a crowd surrounding you. However, God is with you every step of the way. May times we make so many efforts to be around the crowd and people yet, He draws us away to pray, to commune, and fellowship with Him.

Mark 6:31...Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while:

So, if you're finding yourself yearning to be more like Jesus and somehow your not fitting in the crowd or in the world, remember you are set apart to bring Glory to His name. Let us not let the world nor the crowds infect us, but let us affect the world by the word of the Lord and His anointing, He's coming soon to gather His people, those who've been set apart will give the Glory to the Lord and not self, nor man, but God.

Lord teach us to be more like you. More of you Lord and Less of me...Set Apart.

This may not be for everyone, but if it makes sense to you, then Lord continue to teach us and instruct us the way we should go and to Give the Glory to you Lord.
