The Confirming One

Confirming (strengthening) the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation (hardship) enter into the kingdom of God
~ Acts 14:22 (KJV)

We Must go through Much Hardship/Tribulation to enter the kingdom of God.

What are you going through right at this moment; because if it's Much Tribulation or Hardship it's possible the road for you to enter the kingdom of God.

These hardships or tribulations that are before you when pursuing the call of God and preaching the message of the Gospel is in actual, a good thing. His word declares that if we suffer with Him we will reign with Him and that those who live godly will suffer persecution. John 15:18-21 says this:

"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me."

We all need that one person in our lives to go to and confide in to just speak our hearts with no judgement then or even later, but just be fully transparent when we are going through it. That person is the one who is confirming or strengthening you to continue in the faith because they know the calling and gifts in your life the Lord has placed. Moses had Joshua, David had Johnathon, Naomi had Ruth and Mary had Elizabeth. They all had hardships/tribulation but they also got the victory in the end. They made it through the appointed destination. What would have happened if they didn't have someone to go to to be strengthened...the outcome may have been different.

So today if your going through hardship/tribulation, it's more than likely your on your way to enter into the kingdom of God as His word says. remember it's a good thing. But in the mean time, gather strength and also be that disciple who is going to strengthen a soul. We need one another as the saints of old needed and had someone also.

Remembering when in a hardship season that, "The servant is not greater than his lord." If HE went through tribulation, we must to. We are able to bare it though like our friends did Naomi, Mary, Moses, and David.

Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith. We have a confirming one and also Be the confirming one...
