Time For Who...
Is It A Time For You or time for ME...
Haggai 1:2-15...
This is what the Lord Almighty says: “These people say, ‘The time has not yet come to rebuild the Lord’s house.’”
Then the word of the Lord came through the prophet Haggai: “Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?”
Now this is what the Lord Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways. You have planted much, but harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.”
This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways. Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored,” says the Lord.“You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?” declares the Lord Almighty. “Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with your own house. Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops. I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the olive oil and everything else the ground produces, on people and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands.”
Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest, and the whole remnant of the people obeyed the voice of the Lord their God and the message of the prophet Haggai, because the Lord their God had sent him. And the people feared the Lord.
Then Haggai, the Lord’s messenger, gave this message of the Lord to the people: “I am with you,” declares the Lord. So the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of the whole remnant of the people. They came and began to work on the house of the Lord Almighty, their God, on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month.

It's pretty basic and plain and simple words; His house needs to be rebuilt. I have heard about making a nation great again but how can we make it great or even move forward when the Lords house is in ruin because all the while we all live in luxury and comfort. We give more effort and time to self and less and perhaps even nothing to the Lord's work; and if we give it's slim or maimed. Where's our best in effort and time? We have neglected the seriousness of His holiness and His Torah truth. Lord we need you, our countries need you!
Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
His word is true, we need His word to correct us and reproves us, instruct us and teach us unto all good works. This nugget of truth may not be for you but it's for someone and as a nation, we need help because so much has happened we thought we'd never see happen and it's not good. Perhaps it is because we have neglected naturally and spiritually to rebuild the Lord's house by compromising to the world or just walking away without saying a word leaving our tools behind, the one's He'd given us to work with.
He who commands the light to appear and made the sea to part with His breath and holds eternity in His hands, Alpha and Omega. How much do we truly Love the Lord? Sure He can build and create anything by saying a word however, do we love Him and what He represents enough that we give Him honor in rebuilding His house both the inner house and outer house? Do we expect much but are receiving too little? Are we so busy in our own homes we forget the Lords house? Is It time For you, Or Time For Me...The Lord Says. Time for Who?
The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts. We must begin with a willing heart and wanting to rebuild the Lord's House. Let's grab our tools and rebuild the Lord's House First, I Am with you.
