Billowing Waves Of The Trial

That trial in your life right now, those billowing waves hitting you back to back, are determining the condition of your heart and what's in it to surface up to manifest; whether it's drifting into resentment and bitterness in isolation or, to pursue forward with more strength, courage, and humility. Are we truly His...

I think of Job how he was tried being hit back to back with bad news. And as Job was being tried having the hedge of protection brought down and going through so much, we read that at the very end of the trial Job repented and was restored afterwards twice as much as before.

"I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.

Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.

Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes."  ~Job 42:2:6

Job went through a trial and his friends came to counsel him but they did not speak the thing that was right about the Lord. However, even so upon repenting Job also prayed for his friends and then it began to turn into a double portion blessing. Although Job loved the Lord, Job had a hint of pride; but what the enemy intended for harm as the hedge was brought down, the Lord used that trying for good a grander purpose.

And the Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the Lord had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold. ~ Job 42:10,11

Although this trial may be a very tough one God is doing a greater and mightier thing within us. The trial in actual is a joyous thing its the trying of Our Faith.

James 1:2-4 says this...My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

It's a perfect work that is happening to us. Repenting is key and vital to the next process of blessing and being restored. The Lord turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends even though they gave him bad counsel and didn't speak of what was right to Job. The Lord blessed him twice as much as before after repenting and praying for his friends.

So, that trial is to root up all those hindrances that are keeping us from proceeding forward to a more greater purpose of a double portion.

Jeremiah 17:9,10  says this about the heart:
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. Jeremiah 17:14.

Our hearts are to be in constant remodeling from flesh to spirit. As the spirit grows stronger, the desires of the flesh become weaker. As we decrease, He increases in us, in a heart that is being made pure and holy unto the Lord by the trying of our faith. Being tired and true to the one true God.  He is a jealous God. He is jealous for us because He has made us. In Him we move and live and have our being. May the billowing waves of our trials take us to a deeper and grander purpose!

Lord let us be true to you as we are being tried and we are ever so grateful for your blessings for you are faithful to us. Thou O'Lord art my praise even in the  trying, I desire to lift up Your Name and Bless Your Name....
