The Eagle Has Winked
After talking to my Bestie in law about the strength of faith in Christ over a great soup and sandwich, God shows up in the most usual of places. Yes, that's when we know it just had to be a God thing because only God shows up doing that.
So many trial battles overcoming fights to be in a place of being still and taking note of all that has happen. We talk in victorious joy about the goodness of God. There was laughter, there were tears and we said, "Wow, how awesome is that?" We gained strength like iron sharpening iron.
Through many battles and overcoming trials we know for certain that God can do the most impossible things and they can also be done through us and in us when we place Him head over our lives and all thing
So much faith that no one can convince otherwise that He cannot do what He said. We know He can do that and more! May our faith and trust in Him be so solid and thick that when it become under fire and under attack they cannot penetrate that shield of Faith wall. Through Faith we build that solid foundation that He can do all and more because He is what He said He is, Almighty God.
So, as we head back to our destination driving down this freshly asphalted busy highway that's been painted, we see the majestic animal on the side eating. An adult Bald Eagle in Alabama just standing tall with it's yellow beak, white head and tail feathers. So snowy pure white, it takes flight in it's majestic brown coat of feathers beaming through the highway, it glides across us so close and seems as if it gives us a wink to say "Yea, you see me don't you"...
At first from a way distance, it looked like a turkey vulture and then a falcon but the closer we got to it the more distinct it became; until the amazement hit us that it was no ordinary bird, its a Bald Eagle!
What is a Bald Eagle doing thereon the edge of the road?! So excited of the conversation before and how awesome a God we serve, to finish the time with encouragement of an Eagle. So the Eagle winks at us as it passes by and says perhaps;
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
Never seen a Bald Eagle or at that even one in the South that up close. So free and unconfined, but liberated to do what it wants is a sure reminder perhaps this long out trail is finally over. We've walked and waited so long it's time to mount up with wings as Eagles, run be renewed in strength. Natural types the spiritual and there, God was in the most unusual places.
Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1
The evidence of things not seen perhaps in a peripheral vision, at least not yet. And yet, was seen and could be seen and cannot be denied otherwise. So convincing, no one could sway me otherwise. Solid conviction! He can heal, He can restore, He can make all things New.
The Eagle has winked and taken flight because we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. Love Him because while we were yet sinners The Lord loved us and died for us to be redeemed and bring us back to our original state, His bride.
I pray you are encouraged that All thing are made New only through Him who loves us. Waiting on Him we can mount with wings as Eagles, we can run and not be weary walk and not faint. The view up there was amazing and the Eagle is liberated and looking majestic at the light of the Son. The Eagle has winking at the things beneath it. Praise be to God! Greater things are yet to be done...
