Correct Me if I'm Wrong

We don’t always have it right all the time. In Fact, Proverbs 24:15 says, “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again:. Mistakes are purposeful to make adjustments and correction were needed. The thing is to acknowledge the mistake in order to make corrections. We who are imperfect are corrected by Him who is perfect because of His great Love for us.

There is however, an enemy who will use anything to destroy us even the Lord's word against us. The Lord so great and mighty corrects everything to His master plan and perfect will.

Genesis 3:1 And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? In other words in today's slang language, “Correct me if I’m wrong but did God really say that?! Even today the world still says, “Did God really say that...twisting Gods word

We all like to believe we are good people. However, if that were the case, then Jesus wouldn't have had to come down from heaven from eternity here on earth in time. And if we have it all together and correction is no longer needed in our life, then that means we have been perfected. If then we have been perfected already, we no longer need correction and we should already then be in heaven. However, the bible says all have sinned and come short from the glory of God. In fact, after they disobeyed, the glory they were clothed, in was removed. Hence, For All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God: Romans 3:23. Correction is needed.

Hebrews 12:5-11 Also, you have forgotten the counsel which speaks with you as sons: “My son, don’t despise the discipline of the Lord (Adonai) or become despondent when he corrects you. For The Lord (Adonai) disciplines those he loves and whips everyone he accepts as a son.” Regard your endurance as discipline; God is dealing with you as sons. For what son goes undisciplined by his father? All legitimate sons undergo discipline; so if you don’t, you’re an illegitimate son and not a true son! Furthermore, we had physical fathers who disciplined us, and we respected them; how much more should we submit to our spiritual Father and live! For they disciplined us only for a short time and only as best they could; but he disciplines us in a way that provides genuine benefit to us and enables us to share in his holiness.

Now, all discipline, while it is happening, does indeed seem painful, not enjoyable; but for those who have been trained by it, it later produces its peaceful fruit, which is righteousness.

“If we really want to share His holiness and produce peaceful fruit later, then we must endure the discipline. The Shared holiness, is putting on His righteousness which was the glory that disappeared when they disobeyed. And the fruit we so longed to eat is that correction and discipline. He instructed them as a legitimate Father who loved them with food and clothes yet, they chose to disobey. The Word is an instruction going forth to perform something fruitful, And yet, they refused that fruit.

2 Timothy 3:16,17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. When God take care of His kids he furnishes everything even in tough times He provides.

Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy Rod and Thy Staff they Comfort me.

Isaiah 45:2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

Let God correct and instruct you. For His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Correction is needed because we have not yet been perfected. When we endure correction we are true children of God and not illegitimate.

Lord talk to us please correct and change us. Let us not continue on seeing I’m not right and I’m in the wrong. Though my path is crooked, please make it straight! When I look in the mirror and can’t stand to look even into my own eyes, Lord correct me and discipline me and let me see and understand what is wrong. When I’m so busy in making a living and I forget to give, talk to me. When I’m in prison for breaking the law. My Lord talk with me, when I am so angry and I lash out to my family and friends and I go to bed in an angry rage, Lord please talk to me!! When bitterness and resent has had a hold on me for many years, please correct me and let me see and understand I am not right! Don't let me continue on in this condition before it’s too late!! Don’t let me leave this world without you instructing nor correcting me, and make me straight! Lord, am I still legitimate if I don’t feel your Staff or Rod anymore and I do as I wilt...

Do we not feel the pull of the staff to safety from the clutches of the wrong words, wrong actions or even wrong reactions.

Job 5:17 Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:

Proverbs 23:12-14 Apply thine heart unto Instruction, and thine ears to the words of knowledge. Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die. Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.

Thy Rod and Thy Staff they comfort me.

The Rod is a branch and the Staff is the substance and support connecting together; it pulls us back to the living vine to be reconnected to substance and stay supported. Jesus says I am the Vine and ye are the branches. He has a branch or Rod to pull us back into that supported substance. Just Like a Father who support his children...thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Endure the Disciple and correction take heed and be fruitful clothed in His holiness.

Lord, Correct Me when I’m wrong... <3
