I View Eternity

Standing at the ending point of time,

In front I view Eternity.

What a journey I traveled so long to get to here,

My new beginning of Eternity.



Suited up in these eternal clothes,

I know I fought the good fight of Faith.

I see the glory of the Son,

And I feel more than safe.



As I step into Eternity,

I wonder how I ever got this far to start with...

Not by feeling for certain, for I failed constantly.

But I chose to serve HIM; in my life I chose this.



Now that my end is here,

I leave what seems dear.

In the natural, I grieve.

But in Spirit, I see now what I had believed.



“Divine Saviour” who came to rescue me from the grip of sin,

I can now be near to forever fellowship closely with Him.

Never be separated from the Lord again

For to die in Christ was to truly gain.



This is the hope of Glory

This is the ending of my great story.

For to me, to Live is Christ and to die is Gain!
