Put the Blame on Me
So if it makes it easier, put the blame on Me!
How many times do we get hurt and upset and blame someone else for feeling so hurt? And if it wasn't for that person the hurt or damage would have never happened..."I'm mad and hurt and upset because of you!"
And perhaps they did do it. Blame cries out. "You did this to me!"
Since the very beginning of time there was blame. Adam blamed Eve, "It was that wife you gave me God!" Which Adam blamed God and Eve instead of just saying, "I done it." And then Eve, blamed the serpent who had beguiled her instead of just saying, "Yes, I did eat of the tree, the one you said I shouldn't have." And then, as we all know, it was that serpent.
The serpent just hated the unity of the creator and creation, and of the husband and wife, and well just friendships and relationships. Because he knew he would never ever be a part of such a privileged and honored union, Unity. So, the enemy will cause discord any way possible through the senses of every man and woman if we are not careful. He sows discord and it then become a diseased perception of reality.
And isn't still the enemy now coming in and saying stuff in our ears to hear and think the opposite of what reality really is...A misunderstanding heard in the ears flowing down in the heart and perceiving something else than the truth... A diseased perception of reality. Thus, everything else becomes distorted and a loss of the correct frequency.
A union of unity in one accord is such strength.
Psalms 133:1-3
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
Jesus offers a way to make us One again and it's a continues effort on our part. When we've sinned and/or make mistakes and can't make things right, I can almost hear Jesus say, "If it makes it easier put the blame on Me! I took the blame for your sins and mistakes because I love you that much and I want to stay in communion with you." But first in our hearts we must repent and have a broken heart and a contrite spirit for healing and restortion to begin in our lives. While we were yet sinners Christ died for us for the love He has for us; but we must do our part by acknowledging that we did err in our ways and we long to be in unity with Him once more.
1 Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Ephesians 1:4
According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Isaiah 53:5
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

So depending on the condition of the heart and the desire to keep the unity, sometimes we too must accept and perhaps take the blame for a mistake we may or may never have done just to keep the unity.
I'm taking about spilled milk on the floor by keeping the fridge door open and it falls out all over. Who left the door open or who was the one that didn't push the milk back so it wouldn't fall out? Tit for tat blame you blame me stuff. That stuff can be made to a big mountain later if not dealt right. Instead, just take the blame and clean up the mess together and live in unity for the sake of communion and loving one another. If it makes it easier put the blame on me. I'll take it because our communion is far more important then that tit for tat blame stuff. Hold on and don't let go.

So in our relationships and friendships there will come a time where we will have to choose to walk away from fellowship or stay in unity for the love of our neighbor. Depending on the situation, it's really the condition of the hearts and the willingness to try. One may be willing while the other may not. But regardless, don't harden your heart that you can't have healthy relationships or friendships anymore and you build walls that no one can get in. That wall you built can become lonely and God made us for fellowship.
Sometimes it's ok to take the blame to keep the communion. And sometimes separation is best to keep the sanity. Jesus took the blame for us on the cross to bring us all back to unity in Him. We choose daily what we want to do. Spilled milk and broken glass can be cleaned up time and again. But sowing discord can separate and keep us away for even longer than we think or ever have imagined creating a loneliness towards our brethern. Discord is a broken cord.
I'm so glad for the works of the cross. Jesus who knew no sin became sin and took the blame for all of us to keep us in Union with God. The serpent gave Eve an ear full of lies and she heard and gave into the words thus discord with God. How did she soon forget the fellowship and communion with her Creator...
But Jesus being the true word took the blame for us from the garden and brought us back to God because of His love towards us. For while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory. So, if it makes it easier put the blame on Me and let's move forward together in One Accord and in Unity. While everyone was blaming each other at the garden, Jesus stepped in and took the blame and ended it all so we can fellowship and be in communion once more with the one who loved us the most. While the enemy sows discord, Jesus sowed love to stay in one accord.
