"Can A Thing Cast Out Another in Compromise?"

"Can a thing cast out another thing in compromise or denial?"

This is the question that is been asked to me in a whisper.

Before Peter could cast out any demon he had to first confront his denial of Jesus.

Mark 16:17 says, "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My Name (Jesus) they will cast out demons:

Mark 3:23 say,..."How can Satan cast out Satan? 

Jesus spoke to Peter at the last supper saying to him this in Luke 22:31

"Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren.

The meaning of "Sift" here is to isolate that which is important. Peter was sifted. His faith was so important that it was fought in the isolation of denial. The call of God in Peters life of "The Rock" was being fought. The whole foundation of it!

Matthew 16:18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell cannot prevail against it. and I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven...

And so Peter fell into the isolation of denial and wept greatly in the sifting. Jesus prayed before this however, that Peter's faith should not fail. Peter returned back to Jesus and was able to strengthen the brethren, after confirming His faith in Jesus and then was able to boldly turn the world upside down.

"And when you return to me, strengthen your brethren."

In My name they shall cast out demons... 

"Can a thing cast out another thing in compromise or denial?"

Beware of Compromise and Denial. I pray to the Lord to help me that my faith fail me not. So I look at my own walk to see where I am spiritually and if I've been compromising anywhere. May our faith fail us not. In order to cast out demons or anything demonic of evil influences anywhere or even in our own life, we cannot compromise at anything that the Lord says is evil or an abomination. Compromise leads to Apostasy and testimony, ruined. What lifestyle are we walking in; compromised or sold out to His righteousness in us...

I cannot cast out the spirit of fear in someone else's life when I am watching horror movies and seeking paranormal activity as entertainment and being fearful afterwards. I am inviting even more spirits in. We have to stay away from all appearances of evil things. Yours may not be fear but perhaps something else.

James 2:20 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe- and tremble.

Philippians 2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those under earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Time to Raise the Standard of Truth and not Compromise. May we seek His Righteousness.
