Wilderness Experience Into the Deep Things
Oh, that our inner groanings cry out to the Almighty to carry us to the wilderness experience in order to grow out of this immaturity of the carnal worldly ways into the maturity of the spirit. Maturity handles it all in humility knowing how flawed and imperfect we are without Him. May we learn to embrace the carrying of the quiet solitude pasture of the wilderness. Fly...
"Oh that I had wings like a dove: then I would fly away and rest! I would fly far away to the Quiet of the wilderness. Psalms 55:6-7
Oh, that we could all have the wilderness experience so that we find rest. Not in the carnal mind, but in the spiritual sense. We find rest in the wilderness to get rid of this flesh that weighs us down (the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life). The spirit is lifted up to fly lighter in the Spirit. The wilderness experience gives weigh to the carnal. There, is the rest we have spiritually as the carnal man falls off and the spirit man grows.
Israel had a 40 years' experience to get Egypt out of them in order to be able to walk into the Promised Land. The carnal was restlessness of slaves in bondage heavy laboring that profited nothing but made them all the more exhausted. In the wilderness they learned to be at rest and used their talents in service to the Lord. In the wilderness the life instructions were spoken over the people of how to become a great nation.
He Speaks in the wilderness through the wind and the trees!
Then the Lord said to Moses, "Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you: and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no." Exodus 16:4
The Mosaic Tabernacle was built in the wilderness also, which is a representation of Christ later. The tabernacle was laid out with seven specific pieces of furniture all facing the East and all the tribes of Israel were to camp surrounding the tabernacle according to Gods instructions.
The Shekinah Glory was in the camp and settled over the Ark of the Covenant.
Exodus 29:45 Then I will live among the people of Israel and be their God, and they will know that I Am the one who brought them out of the land of Egypt so that I could live among them. I am the Lord.
Wherever the Prescence of the Lord is, there is Rest. He was there in the wilderness. He was providing rest, water, food, and all the other things needed to succeed as liberated people becoming a Nation. The Wilderness Transforms!
Jesus also had the wilderness experience as a man being tempted (which was the flesh).
The Mosaic Tabernacle was built in the wilderness and Jesus who was man, also went in the wilderness.
Matthew 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
The Spirit will take those Willing to the wilderness to take the carnal out!
There in the wilderness, Jesus hungered, but as we all know, God is able to rain bread from heaven and feed a nation. So, Jesus wasn't there to eat he was there to serve notice! Humanity needed rest from the bondage of sin which is the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life. Christ came to the wilderness to set us all free to get us to the Heavenly Promise Land.
Matthew 4:11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
We get ministered in the Wilderness! Hebrew meaning for wilderness is Midbar, meaning- driving, pasture, desert, south, speech.
Lord, drive out the carnal nature so that we can live in the spirit as you are a Spirit. As we find ourselves in the Wilderness experience, may we grow out of the carnal ways of this world and always find rest in Your Divine Embrace...Wilderness Experience into the Deep Things beyond what the human eye can see and feel. Discern & Fly...
